In a video shared on TikTok, the actress and socialite reacted to the recent arrests of several individuals linked to alleged romance scams, wire fraud, and related offences. According to her, persons who may have had dealings with a woman recently arrested and jailed should be worried, especially if they failed to support her during her legal troubles.
Akuapem Poloo claimed that suspects arrested in such operations often reveal the identities of their associates as part of plea bargain arrangements with investigators.
She warned that anyone involved in such activities should reduce unnecessary international travel, particularly to destinations such as Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States, as authorities may already be monitoring them.
According to her, the noticeable decline in international trips by some players within the entertainment industry is not due to financial difficulties or lack of opportunities, but rather fear of arrest or surveillance.
Her comments come amid growing public discussions surrounding the arrests of individuals including Abu Trica, Dada Joe Remix, and Ohene Kwame Frimpong, who have all been linked to allegations involving romance scams, wire fraud, and other cyber-related crimes.
