Education and Health Workers to Begin Receiving Salary Arrears from May 29

According to a statement signed by the Head of Public Relations, Cephas N. Dosoo, the arrears will be paid in phases over a four-month period, with beneficiaries receiving four months’ arrears each month until all outstanding payments are cleared. The payment schedule is as follows: * May 2026 – 4 months’ arrears * June 2026 – 4 months’ arrears * July 2026 – 4 months’ arrears * August 2026 – 4 months’ arrears The Department indicated that the first batch of payments is expected to be completed by Friday, May 29, 2026, while the remaining payments will follow the approved timeline. CAGD also thanked affected workers for their patience and cooperation throughout the delay period, assuring them that all arrears will be settled accordingly.
